TX Electric Deposits?
Posted by: | CommentsElectric in Texas is provided by a host of power companies. These companies are very different though. Most electricity companies are distrusting. They won’t take a customer’s word of honor that they will pay their bill. These companies demand an electricity deposit from the customer anticipating that the customer won’t pay. Many of these companies also don’t respect the prospective customer’s privacy rights and ask for personal information like social security numbers and other personal information.
Texas law doesn’t require a customer to pay an electric deposit but some companies require it if they don’t trust the customer.
If a company doesn’t trust you then why should you trust them? We highly recommend that you do business with an electric company that respects you. Call to find out more and establish service with no deposit (no money down – in most cases). Same-day-service is also available.
